Week 2

Week two here at MPhA has proven to be a very busy week.  We are trying to get ready for Pharmacy Legislative Day coming up on February 2nd.  We are also making and attending meetings with the representatives and senators on the health and human services committee.  This week we met with Representatives Jim Abeler and Nora Slawick as well as Senator Sean Nienow.  I found that bringing a constituent is a very important thing for us.  It helps to give the representative or senator a resource in their community that they can go to with questions.  After making all these appointments I now can say that it is really important to let your representatives and senators know that you are available to clear any confusing pharmacy issues up and really encourage everyone to call, email, write or visit your legislatures.
